McLaren Racing has announced the appointment of Alessandro Alunni Bravi as their new Chief Business Affairs Officer, effective from February 1, 2025. This strategic move comes as McLaren aims to bolster its leadership team ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 season.

Alunni Bravi brings over two decades of motorsport and business leadership experience to McLaren. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of the Sauber Group and Team Representative for Kick Sauber. His extensive resume also includes leadership roles with renowned racing organizations such as ART Grand Prix, Trident Racing, and SPARK Racing Technology.

In his newly created role at McLaren, Alunni Bravi will oversee a range of business affairs, including legal matters, driver development, commercial strategies, driver contract management, and relationships with rights holders and governing bodies. He will also take charge of McLaren's Driver Development Programme, succeeding Stephanie Carlin, who is transitioning to additional responsibilities within the Formula 1 team. Reporting directly to CEO Zak Brown, Alunni Bravi will be an integral part of the McLaren Racing Executive Team.

Alunni Bravi shared his excitement about joining McLaren, saying, "McLaren is a team I have been a huge fan of my whole life, and it therefore sparks special emotions personally to have the opportunity to now work with such an amazing group of people. I want to reward the trust and confidence that Zak and the Board have put in me by giving my full dedication and effort to help contribute to the continued success."
